Fit for Thursday

Hi Everyone,

Okay so I think you all had known that I had mentioned gaining a bunch of weight this yr from being on fertility meds and of course eating a lot more than I should (tg all healthy but still. . . ) well yesterday i got my friend with no meds or anything. It has been 6 yrs and let me tell you I am making up for lost time. I know TMI.

Anyways my friend who I go to school with made me go this am to an easy kickbox class so now at least i have done something. Eating has been off and that's okay at the moment because of the situation but need to get back on the ball in a day or so. Do you all gain about 5lbs when you get ur friend or have I been indulging too much?

Dani don't give up!!!! Lets make a deal. Strive to not be perfect but to be mindful and not to focus on losing but to focus on not gaining and instead sustaining where you are. Also to make sure to be active a little throughout the chaos??? If you can't get a workout then make sure to take the long way in the stores etc. Deal????

Deal! :) I have been grappling with the same 3 pounds for what seems like months now... but I have not gained any more than those three, but have lots more to do once I finally do get rid of them for good (like 35 more!)... I have been keeping up with the November rotation and I'm sure that if I didn't have that I would be completely lost... I do need to get in more cardio, but it is kinda hard to do after a 60 minute weight workout, even if I don't break much of a sweat, I'm still tired! but I have a feeling that is why my weight is not budging much either way...

yes, during Aunt Flo's visit, I always seem to bloat, retain water and generally feel "FAT" for about a week... She is such an unwelcome guest! :(

I'll hang in there if you do! and Kariev and Janie and anyone else who is struggling!

Thanks! Not a fan of the Aunt anymore lol. That's a deal I will also try to hang in there as long (even if we are not perfect) and post that is better I think because then you are still aware.
 
Hi ladies, i too gain 5lbs worth of water weight with auntflow and definately when i endulge with my weekly treat meal. I can totally relate to you guys about getting down on yourself for not being perfect. We have to realize that mental positive health comes first and then the body will follow. Thinking positively and really fighting with myself about the "all or nothing" thinking has helped me overcome my binging episodes. Heck, its been over a month since i last binged. I can't believe it.

debelden: i can totally relate with having to do cardio after lifting heavily. i find that i can't workout for more than an hour not only b/c i have other things to do but b/c it exhausts me. If you are able to alternate workout days i say alternate your weight training with your cardio mon-saturday. If you like me and you can only workout 5 days per week, do one week with 3 weights and 2 cardios and the next week with 2 weights and 3 cardios.

This morning i did my treadmill workout for 45 minutes at 12%incline and 4mph. I was pooped by the end. I have about 5 cardio coach workouts but for some reason i just can't stand the workouts. I think its the music? i don't know. I wish i liked them though. Tomorrow will be another circuit day. Keep it up ladies!
