Fit for C & H Monday

Yuck! I'm bloated and my tummy hurts this morning. Probaly from all that fiber i binged on LOL! So last night i finished up with a salad with grilled chicken for dinner and i had a protein bar before bed. I didn't sleep all that well as my metabolism was fired up from the excess food and i was sweating all night. I decided to give the afternoon workouts a serious go so i didn't get up this morning and it was wonderful getting an extra 1.5 hrs of sleep. Plus i didn't have to rush to get in the shower, get my hair blowndry, walk the dog, etc. I will do back and biceps when i get home and 30-45 min of cardio. Heres my plan of eating for the day.

breakfast: 1 egg, 1/2 egg white, 2 kashi waffles, 1 slice soy cheese,(all made into an egg sandwich), coffee, 2Tbsp splenda, 1/4cup fat free milk

snack: 12 raw almonds

lunch: large mixed salad with loads of veggies, 4 oz grilled chicken breast, 2 Tbsp of organic strawberry vinagarette dressing, 1 apple

snack: 12 raw almonds

dinner: same as lunch

dessert: 1 apple with 1Tbsp peanut butter
 
I hear you!!! Sounds like a good workout plan. I have a drs appt during lunch won't gross you out why and have no clue whether I will be able to w/o which is upsetting since it is the 1st of the month. No matter what then I NEED 6to eat clean!!

HI guys:

I just looked at the December Cathe rotation and don't have most of the workouts, so will be doing weeks 2 & 4 of FitnessFreaks December rotation using the Gym Style etc workouts...

Eating has been just OK:

B: Special K granola bar (90 cal), slimfast shake... (I know, but it's all I had for today)
L: salad with olives, carrots, cheese, peas, beets, broccoli, and LF blue cheese dressing
snack: undecided
D: probably chix breast with corn or green beans

I am going to order the Nutrition Manager from Cathe tonite and start tracking my food... I have got to get my eating under control or all this sweating and working out is for NOTHING!

Kariev: your eating plan sounds good! I'll have to go shopping to get more healthy stuff for breakfast and dinner... most of the time we (3 of us co-workers always go together) to lunch, so bringing stuff would be anti-social, right? Hope your afternoon workout works out for you! let us know how it goes!

Eriniski: I hope your Dr. appt goes well, and you are able to keep your workout schedule... keep us posted and hope everything is OK!
 
Hi ladies! Had an AMAZING workout this afternoon. I did GSBSB and then tagged on 30 minutes of SS cardio on the elliptical. I had a lot of energy i guess from all those carbs i ate yesterday. LOL! However, i did have a headache all day today and i know it was from the sugar in the cereal. After a slip up with dieting, its amazing how good you feel after you get that workout in. My diet was exactly how i posted it. I really like eating these meals. Well, i have to admit i did enjoy my afternoon workout but i have to say i have anxiety about not getting it in (weird i know). On wednesday i have to go straight from work to my moms to help her get a christmas tree. I know that i won't be home before 7 so it looks like that will be an early morning workout day. On friday we are driving to tampa to go to busch gardens so once again, a morning workout is required. So i may just keep my morning workouts. Though it was nice to not be rushed and get up so early this morning, i always seem to have stuff come up when i get off of work thus making it just easier to do first thing so i don't have to worry about it. Another thing i was thinking of doing is getting a cardio workout in on the weekend either saturday or sunday. The thing is i want to get at least 3 45 minute cardio sessions in per week. There is no way that i can add these sessions after a full hour of weight training. I don't do well with workouts that are longer than one hour so i was thinking of adding one in on the weekends. The thing with this is my husband and i are usually up early to go fish or do whatever so that eliminates being able to do it first thing and then after a full day out on the boat i'm completely wiped out! whats a girl to do???? Mabe i'm just already predicting i'm going to fail at 6 workout days/week and not really commiting to it? Then i was thinking well i could crame the GS series into 2 days during the week and then do CC on 3 days so it would look like this:
monday: CC
tuesday: GSBBS
wednesday: CC
thusday: GSLegs and GStriceps (i don't train chest as i had implants back in may and just don't find it necessary to do anything other than some pushups)
friday: CC
what do you think?
Or do you think it would be better to try and commit to 6 days a week alternating cardio with weight training?

dbelden1: your diet doesn't look terrible. It could definately be a lot worse! Don't be so hard on yourself. Definately try to have a better breakfast though. Some oatmeal with protein powder or some eggs and toast. What you ate is far better than going for doughnuts though so be positive about that.

erinski: hope you had a good docs appointment. please keep us informed if you get any news. keep up that clean eating!!

sorry my post was so long ladies. i just got into rambling tonight i guess.
