Well, I've been inspired with all the recent polling questions about Cathes videos. :)

I'm curious as to anyone's first video that they were able to get all the way through. I know with most, I have to work my way to that point. For me, Cardio Kicks was the first - it felt like a true accomplishment after weeks of calling it quits just into the power intensity blasts.

Anyone?

Hmmmm...I really had to think a bit with this one.
When I first "discovered" Cathe, it was via one of her old, old tapes called "The Home Step Workout" (which I still own). I liked it a lot, and then bought Cardio Step Challenge (through Collage, I think). Next came Mega Step Blast, and it was with THIS tape that I knew I had hit the big time! LOL
MSB did just what the title offered...it blasted me. Those gol-durn ricochets...YIKES! By comparison now, it seems too simplistic; plus, I like Cathe's later videos where she only has four to five gals working out with her. In MSB, there were about 10 or 12 people, and with all the hootin and hollerin going on, it seemed like 200 people! It got a little distracting.
I rarely do this video anymore, but it truly was "THE FIRST" Cathe tape for me that I felt pushed my level of fitness to a new height. When I was able to get through the whole thing, with ALL the arm movements included, I was thrilled.
And so now I slog (and suffer) through CTX, Body Max, Interval Max....oh, the list goes on and on and on.....

I started at the deep end of the Cathe pool -- MIC. Think I just did the hi-lo, then later the step portion. I remember thinking (after doing other instructors' tapes ), "Now this is more like it! A challenging, fast-paced, intense workout!" Can't for the life of me remember the first time I did MIC in its entirety, but I consider it to be Cathe's toughest to this very day.

I bought Body Max at the same time, so it was probably my second tape. It took me a while to learn the step portion (mucho sweating and swearing). This one is also a killer!

At that time, I thought all of Cathe's work was of the same intricacy and intensity.

Then I backtracked and got her earlier tapes, (Mega Step Blast, Step Max, Step Jam, & Step Heat). I have to admit, I was kinda disappointed because they seemed so much slower. I only do them on "light" days when I want a good, solid workout. (Ya, right, I call 'em light days, but there are no light days in the Cathe collection!)

Now I have all her videos with the exception of the REALLY, REALLY, early ones. Cathe is the best!

Sounds like me...I got MIC and did the Hi/Lo part while I waited for my step to be delivered, then I did Imax!

My first weight tape of hers was MIS, then I got the PS series. I wanted tough and I got it.
