Firming above knees

Does anyone know of a way to firm above the
knees? I run three times a week, about 5 miles
each time. It seems that is a hard area to build
up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I have chubby knees too

Dianne, I have not the best knees and I think I asked the same question last year. Leg extensions are great at firming the area above the knee and I think lunges have a positive effect on them too. It is a fat storage depository for me...so if I could just tackle that with diet...I would be all set

Just general fat loss

Hi Dianne:

As Nancy said, around the knees is just another cool place to store fat. About 3 years ago, my knees started doing this and I freaked. I've always carried my fat in my belly and hips and this was an unwelcome development, to say the least. I was afraid that 2 kids and reaching the advanced age of 37 had changed my legs forever.

It took a few months, but I did lose the knee chub. I think it was a combination of EVERYthing that did the trick: strength training, running, step and diet. One day I noticed it was just GONE. And it hasn't come back. Even though I stil have those same 2 kids and my age continues to advance (40 and feelin' fine

do I have to wait 3 years!

Maybe it was that magical age of 40
