Cathe I did a wieghtworkout of yours lower body pyramid. My feet hurt for a week can you tell me if this has ever happend before? Is there something I should do differently? By the way I did feel it in all the right places as well! :)

Do you think it's from the calf work on the step? I occasionally find my arches are very tender after doing calf work using the step so instead I just "lift up" off the floor for every set or every other set. I find it helps me. You might play with that and see if it works for you.

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

Hi LeAnn! Perhaps it is due to striving for balance. Many times you don't realize how hard you tense your feet when working on maintaining your balance during lower body exercises. The feet will literally cramp and or tense up in attempt to maintain balance. Also, if you feel this could be the case, try not to curl your toes so hard while fighting for balance. Just being aware of this on your next workout should help tremendously. Good Luck!

Calf work used to mess up my insteps. I did GS Legs just the other day and every time Cathe says to get up high on your toes, I don't. There's a point where if I go up too high the energy leaves my calves and goes into my feet, which means the move hurts my feet and does nothing for my calves. So I relate.

What Cathe just stated is what I am guilty of from time to time. This may sound silly, but what works for me is sometimes to just move to a different part of the room when I'm working out. Don't ask me why that works, it just does!...:7
