feeling out of shape

Cathlete
I have just started to get back into working out. I started using Cathe's tapes again and ordered the body blast DVD(upgraded with a new dvd). Bur you Catheite's make me feel so lazy. Not in a bad way, but reading all your posts about how intense your workouts are are exhaustig, but very inspiring.
I'll get there soon, as long as I get checking on Cathe Forums!
Bye!

Don't feel that way, we all had to work up to Cathe:) . She is one tough cookie and jumping right in could hurt some people. So it is good that you are building up your endurance with her tapes, start slow and build. We wouldn't want to lose you before you get good and started!!;) Keep us posted on how you are doing!! And welcome to the forum!:7

Hi Lizzy!
I used to feel the same way when a poster would say they worked out for a certain period of time or lifted a certain amount of weight. It used to really bother me until I realized that we each need to work out to meet our own needs. We don't have to work out for hours a day or lift really heavy to be in shape. Remember, more is not always better.;) You'll eventaully figure out what formula is right for you! Good luck and have a great week!:7

I absolutely agree with the above statements. I know it may be difficult at first, but try not to compare what you do to what others around here do. You must find a program that works for YOU first and foremost!

I find that if I try to do too much, go too long, put high intensity workouts back to back etc., I become burned out fast. It's then that I end up taking time off and feel like I've lost even more than I was trying to gain fitness-wise. Take your time, work up your endurance and then slowly start to take yourself "out of your comfort zone" as I've heard Cathe say, once things become too easy. Most of all, enjoy. Cathe is the best there is. ;-)

I agree with everyone else. Cathe-Land is a place where you can do YOUR best, not someone else's.

Different things work for different people, in terms of schedule, mode, volume of exercise, etc. We all have the agreement here, "Give what you have, take what you need and leave the rest behind."

Keep checkin' in, LizzyLiz!
