Favourite 'beverage'?

>
>My favorite beverage is Diet 7-Up.

>Why is everyone else's favorite beverage alcoholic? :p

Hey you, how dare you judge us and our drunken ways}(

For non-alcoholic beverages.... I have a diet pepsi or water. Water is probably my fave. I drink one diet pepsi per day (have to have it). The rest of the day is water.

ETA: For me it's a martini about once a month. They are way to potent to drink them anymore than that!

Another wine snob here. My absolute favorite is a good north coast (above Napa/Sonoma) California Pinot Noir like DuckHorn's Golden Eye or any of the Dumal's. Paul Hobb's makes a wonderful one, too.

I also like a crisp, clear chardonnay - nothing too buttery *shudders* One the best reasonably priced ones I love is Berringer Napa Valley (not the Founder's Estate). It's sooo good.

Occasionally I'll have a margarita on the rocks with salt. Had one last night at a fabulous out-door bistro where you sit on couches - it's like having your living room plunked down outside in the middle of an upscale shopping plaza- really fun.

And an ice cold beer on a hot day is a wonderful thing. I'm not too fussy about my beer, but I do like the ambers and a good black and tan the most.

I guess I'm the opposite of Nancy - I like my beverages a bit richer. :p

Wine--Brunello di Montalcino
Champagne---Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label
Beer--Guinness
Non-alcolholic--water, coffee, or very strong iced tea

Laura,
You're my hero! I'm so glad someone else loves white zin too! It's just so fruity and yummy. :) That's amazing that you also like Reisling too--an ex of mine got me onto it because he said he couldn't be around me if I was drinking white zin (hmmm, wonder why he's an ex...?) and I love it now too!

For you cab drinkers. Have you tried the Charles Shaw from Trader Joes? It is really good and it's like 3 bucks a bottle. I didn't care for the chardonnay though.

But I also love me my Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio.

And coffee...coffee...coffee... (Starbucks Lattes to be precise)

Allison - You're a girl after my own heart. These are my favorites too!:9

Darli Ann---You're the coolest! I'm so glad you love Santa Margarita--it's a little pricey for me so I only drink it occasionally, but god, it's good!

green smoothies! delicious and healthy too!

half a pineapple
one apple
one tangerine or orange
handful of spinach or other green
dab of water

blended in a high-speed blender like vita-mix or blendtec makes it super smooth.

i have 3 a day and love them!

i also enjoy coconut milk from young coconuts. 2nd fave. :9

oh this was for alcohol! um... i don't drink anymore but when i did i really enjoyed organic wine from frey. http://www.freywine.com

I'm not a wine snob, I pretty much like anything....although Pinot Grigio is NOT my favorite...too light. I like the wine with a bit more texture. My absolute favorite is Pinot Noir, though!!

Mixed drink- Mojito, hands down!!!

Beer- don't drink, have never acquired a taste for it

Non-ETOH- water

Dr. Frank's Blanc de Blanc (a wonderful NY state sparkling white)

A nice, fruity, California Zinfandel (not white Zin, although it does have it's place.)

Water

Oh, where do I start...

KJ Chardonnay
Capt. Morgan and Diet Coke
Mai Tai (I plan to drink plenty of these in Jamaica)
Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale (it's made at a local brewery and is YUMMY!)

Now I'm thirsty! :7

Katie

Actually, Guinness is very deceptive...it has a low alcohol content, about 4.2% AND one beautiful pint has 210 calories, so a regular beer glass (NEVER!) would have only 180 or so...

Drink up!!!
