Favourite 'beverage'?

I'm a beer drinkin' gal at heart but I've begun getting into red wine lately. No particular fave to speak of. I'm kind of a whine-ho. I'll drink whatever kind you put in front of me so long as you tell me it's good first!:7 :p As for beer...Corona or Coors Light for the light ones but I also like the darker beers put out by Sam Adams. Killians and Bass is good too!:9 I am not a port girl though. Guinness tastes good going down but I gag on the after taste. x(

I love Sam Adams. I also love any wine from NZ. LMAO @ Tiggy being a wine-ho (or did you really mean whine?? Get the whaaaambulance). I guess I'm a wine snob ;) Wanna duke it out?

I'm not gaining weight. I'm retaining food.

>Disclaimer: all wine-ho's welcome:)

Sorry I'm not sure whether that last post made sense. Could it be because I've been enjoying my favourite beverage a little too much this evening? ;-)

I like red wine. My favourite is Da Vinci form Italy!

Shelby enjoy your favourite beverage! Sounds really yummy!

Summer - Mich Ultra

Anytime w/ dinner - Kendall-Jackson or Simi Cabernet

Winter- Kaluha w/ diet hot cocoa

:)

Frozen margaritas are my favorite but if I'm being calorie-consious, I'd prefer a rum and diet coke or chardonnay wine. I've never been one to like chocolate and liquor but you girls are making it sound GOOD! :9 }(

Beer = Michelobe Ultra

Wine = pretty much any Chardonnay (not a wine snob here!)

Mixed drinks = Baileys & coffee (rarely though as it is crazy high in calories); Appletini (also high in calories)

shot = lemon drop

I pretty much stick to wine or beer unless I've done a really high calorie burning workout (i.e. Drill Max Ultra Cardio) before I drink. Got to even out the calorie intake/outtake!! :)

patron gold or a frozen margharita. i like the fruity flavored ones like melon.

wait, with sushi i like plum wine. i didnt realize i liked so many, because a few more are popping up in my head.

i must be enjoying life a bit more....

Typically I drink beer....mostly since my red wine tastes lean to the expensive. I have also gained a new passion for Mohitos....very tasty!

I'm so jealous of all of you. Since I've had kids even a sip of alcohol makes me comatose. So I just don't drink anymore.

But those days sipping ameretto stone sours or ANYTHING mixed with malibu rum were sooooo sweet. I may have to give it the good old college try again this weekend. But first I'll put on my P.J.'s just in case.:)

A couple weeks ago DH and I had a date night. This restaurant had killer pineapple martinis. They were soooooo good! I don't like sweet and these were not sweet just a pineapple flavored vodka. It was good!
My favorite has to be dirty martinis. I love that salty flavor.

Wine (a good shiraz, chianti, or almost any white)
A good rootbeer
a good milkshake

And for beer:
La Fin du Mond
Lindeman's Frambroise
A good Berliner Weisse (apples, rasberry, etc)
Dogfish Head
Smithwick's
Beamish
Corsendonk

I am fortunate to live near a bar that offers a world beer tour with literally thousand of beers from all over the world. I've found that local beverage centers will sell a number of these crazy but wonderful beers. I dn't partake too often but when I do..... :9 :9 :9 :9

The last year or two I'm having a love affair with New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. I also adore Oregon pinot noir. I'm not so much a wine snob, as just plain finicky about everything. I don't like chardonnay and won't even taste cabernet at all. They both overpower my taste buds. I guess I like stuff LIGHT. :p

Don't laugh, but nothing makes me happier than a glass of Beringer White Zinfindel. I know, I know. Sad.

But I also love me my Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio.

And coffee...coffee...coffee... (Starbucks Lattes to be precise)

Allison, I think you are my alter ego--I'm a white zin girl myself. My friends always make fun of me & I had one guy tell me he was not gonna hang out w/me until I learned how to drink a decent wine. He turned me on to Reisling which tastes very similar to white zin but isn't as embarassing. :D

That said, if I drink once a month it's a lot. I'm not really into alcohol. No moral reasons, I just don't like the taste.

My favorite beverage is Diet 7-Up.

Why is everyone else's favorite beverage alcoholic? :p
