Favorite Workout that uses High Step

I just recieved my high step last night. I am pretty excited about it and with it I got the High Step Circuit DVD. It looks like a pretty cute workout to use when I just don't feel like doing anything. Also, it seems like you could make it more intense by increasing the weights and the step height. I also have the L&G workout, which uses the high step.

What are your favorite high step workouts and why???

Thanks,
Karin

Hi Karin,

My most favorite high step workout is Cathe's High Step Training Advanced (HSTA). I absolutely love this workout and I find it very, very tough but also a lot of fun! I think it is one of Cathe's best circuits. You do the cardio segments on an 8" height and then go right into leg press followed by pure weight work. I get an excellent cardio and strength challenge using this workout; it's a real sweat factory }(

Enjoy your high step! I love mine because of its versatility.

A second vote for HST (adding the A on always seems so redundant to me as most of Cathe's workouts are advanced!). This is a fun circuit workout and I always feel like I've gotten a thorough workout after doing this one. Lots of leg presses in this one but it's one workout that helped whip me back into shape after I had my baby. Muscle Endurance is another great one that uses the high step, if you're looking for a total body workout.

HSTA - no doubt. I think it's the most fun of the high steps, and definitely more challenging than HSC. The only thing is that I wish there were more core work in it.

HSTA is great (especially if you like leg presses}( )

My favorites though are Bootcamp and Muscle Endurance(on the same DVD) which both use the high step.
