Favorite workout song for high intensity cardio?

My running playlist is getting a little stale, and I could really use some suggestions for awesome workout music.
Thanks a bunch!

I would love some responses to this, too! I've recently started doing a Cathe's Run/Walk treadmill workout, and my playlist is not working for me. (My DH swears by his Motley Crue, but it wasn't working for me - except for Kickstart my Heart!)

Is there a website out there devoted to workout music, maybe? I'd love to peruse some playlists!!

Shelley,
Thanks!!! Is Creamfields the album name? If so, I don't see it on iTunes, but there are lots of other songs by Ferry Corsten, and they sound perfect for cardio! I think I'll just pick and choose some of the songs that are on iTunes for now b/c I got an iTunes card for Mother's Day, then I'll keep my eyes open for the set you suggested.

Thanks again for the suggestion. I'm glad Tricia bumped this back up -- I was bummed that I got no responses. Your suggestion is just what I needed! :)

It might be "Mixed Live at Creamfields" or something like that. But yes, I've been using it for running for a couple of weeks now and it's very motivating.:)

Here's a playlist I've been working on for my eliptical and walk/run workouts. I've only used it a couple of times; I find myself switching the order some, except for the first and last songs.

Heroin by Velvet Underground
Believe by Franka Potente (from the Run Lola Run soundtrack)
Archangel by Burial
DJ Spooky vs. the Last Mohican by DJ Spooky
Sweet Jane by Mott the Hoople (the live version/extra track on the "All the Young Dudes" album)
This is How It Feels by Golden Palominos
Venus & Furs by Velvet Underground
Deep Blue Day by Brian Eno

I like "Push It" by Salt & Peppa, and "She's a Lady" by Tom Jones. My age is showing! Also, anything (no kidding!) by the Village People. I like fun music, what can I say?!

I like any fast paced music. For running they have playlists people make on Itunes (i think it is a nike playlist)

One HUGE song that gets me running fast when I don't feel like it is:

Marilyn Manson: "Rock Is Dead"... holy smoke, you HAVE to move to that one!

Others on my running playlist are:

TNT by AC/DC
Money Talks by AC/DC
Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Bitch by Rolling Stones
Machinehead by Bush
I Just Want to Make Love To You by Foghat
Ain't Talking Bout Love by Van Halen
Jump by Van Halen
Icky Thump by White Stripes
Little Cream Soday by White Stripes
Highway Star by Deep Purple
Space Truckin by Deep Purple
I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace
I Alone by Live

Recently Added:
Take me Out by Franz Ferdinand
No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age
Hate Me by Blue October

Now I wanna run again!!!

I listen to Launch Cast yahoo radio at work (I'm a hard rock girl myself!) so that's how I compile most of my playlists. Currently, my playlist consists of, Chevelle (keeps perfect beat with my running feet at 5 mph), Evans Blue, Trapt, Flyleaf & Seether. Happy song hunting!

Thanks for the Ferry Corsten suggestion. I am listening to some of the tracks on Napster right now and adding a lot of them to my running playlist.

I know a lot of people also swear by the Run Lola Run soundtrack. There are also some good tunes off of Silent Alarm Remixed (a Block Party CD). I find The Killers to be fast passed enough to run to. I am not one for most Pop music so I am always trying to find something with a good beat to run to that does not involve Britney Spears or someone along those lines.
