thanks for the KPC premix idea. I did the KPC conditioning drills + standing leg workout. It was really good.

Athletic Training Extreme Premix in the Low Impact Series is a favorite of mine. The fast-paced 7-minute cardio segment is repeated, which really challenges me. The premix clocks in at 43 minutes, so it is an efficient use of time.

I forgot the Low Hiit PM in Intensity. It's not a standalone, I just do the Lo Hiit/Bootcamp PM and leave out the Bootcamp portion!

Scrambled eggs from Body Max 2

You start to feel good about your fitness level when you can complete Body Max 2, but doing the Scrambled Eggs premix takes the routine to a whole new level. Whoever called it Scrambled Legs called it right!

:)

I really love the 5th premix on LIS Low Impact Challenge. For a non-dancey stepper, this premix saved this DVD! I love to put this premix before an UB workout. Good combination.

I agree with Exercise-lover about liking Low Impact Challenge premix #5, which is the warmup, blast, bonus, and cool down. I did this just the other day, skipping the cool down and adding upper body work from Turbo Barre. The blast and bonus segments are non-dancey routines using the step. There's no complex choreography to learn. Just straightforward athletic moves to get your heart rate up and keep it up. The bonus segment is also on the Cardio Supersets disk in the Low Impact Series. It's a favorite of mine for adding 20 minutes of cardio to other workouts.

Oh! Thank you for mentioning this. Low Impact Challenge sits idle in my library because I cannot get dancy step at all. After 10 years, I still can't do Step Blast.
But I can do athletic step and will now dust off the LIC.

It seems like I rarely do the regular routine anymore...I love the premixes. The combined cardio on 4ds kickbox and bootcamp is one of my favorites. Another is Cardio Supersets with the step portion added. STS total body without the bonus burns is 1 hour. Drill Max double cardio is very intense. And of course, Intensity has lots of great premixes...I could go on and on!

I recently put together a few different workouts that target the glutes and thighs and it worked out really well it... the floor work/ankle weight segment and the glute squeeze bonus from Butts and Guts (about 20 minutes), followed by the firewalker band segment of Turbo Barre (don't remember, maybe 5-6 minutes?), followed by the step portion of Intensity (under 35 minutes).

You all have listed some great ideas; I love all the options. Thanks!
