;) I have Cathe's MIC and it is great. What are your favorite and most intense cathe cardio work outs to burn the fat!!!.

I was just reading a success story from a while back and the person said she is seeing no results and she has been using the slow and heavy series.

I have MIS, MUSCLE ENDURANCE, CARDIO AND WEIGHTS, AND SEVERAL STEP TAPES, WOULD YOU CONSIDER THE STEP TAPES CARDIO AND INTENSE ENOUGH, LIKE STEP BLAST AND RYTHMIC STEP, i HAVE BOTH OF THOSE.

Even though the success story I read wasn't real positive, I feel I don't want to give up my strength training videos. When you do a tape like circuit max, cardi and weights that have step and strength, do you consider it a cardio or strength, I am so confused.

I had posted this before and had a lot of good feed back and replies that said the best strength training tape s of Cathe's are pyramid upper and lower.

Any suggestions ideas, how to mix these up to get the best results?.

THE WORK OUTS I HAVE ARE THESE ON dvd's
1. step,jump & pump with step blast
2. boot camp & muscle endurance
3. kick, punch,& crunch with legs & glutes
4. imax2 & cardio & weights

The VHS i HAVE ARE AS FOLLOWS
1. ALL STEP
2. KICK BOX
3.CARDIO KICKS
4.CIRCUIT MAX
5. RYTHMIC STEP
6.MAXIMUM INTENSITY CARDIO
7. MAXIMUM INTENSITY STRENGTH.

MY NEXT PURCHASE WAS GOING TO BE THE PYRAMIDS, BUT NOW NOT SURE.

I am not sure how to classify the step tapes as cardio or strength and the one like circuit max how do I count it. Do you think I need more cardio or strength?.

PLEASE HELP ME I NEED A GOOD PROGRAM WITH THESE TAPES TO GET MY BOD IN SHAPE.

TIA

Hi Debbie,
I would definitely order the Pyramids next. If you want more intense cardio than I would order the original Imax. The following is a suggestion for a rotation using the workouts you currently own including the Pyramids if you order them. I took Cathe's Fat Loss and Definition Rotation she posted in July and subbed in the tapes you own that I thought would be as close as possible to the original rotation:
Week 1
Day 1: ME Upper Body Split/BC Upper Body Split(these are premixes)
Day 2: Imax 2
Day 3: L&G or L&G Xtreme premix
Day 4: MIC
Day 5: ME
Day 6: KPC
Day 7: Rest

Week 2
Day 1: SJP
Day 2: RS
Day 3: Cardio Kicks or KPC
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: MIS
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: ME

Week 3:
Day 1: MIC
Day 2: C&W
Day 3: PLB
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: Circuit Max
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: BC

Week 4:
Day 1: RS
Day 2: Imax 2
Day 3: ME or ME/BC Bonus Combo premix
Day 4: Rest
Day 5: PUB
Day 6: Imax 2 or MIC
Day 7: L&G or L&G Xtreme premix or KPC/L&G 82 min. premix
I'm sure others will chime in with great ideas and many will say to increase strength training more than anything. Good luck!

Edited to say: I just re-read your post and don't know if you wanted ideas on how to mix up your current tapes or the Pyramids when you get them. Oh well...you have my idea anyway!

I am madly in love with Body Blast and KPC but my all time favorite is Interval Max. I feel like a goddess when I finished it, a sweaty, wiped out goddess! I think MIC is awesome too but my feet don't like it and won't allow me to do it more than occasionally. :) And BodyMax is another I just love. I know it so well and it gives me just what I want when I want to knock off cardio and strength in one fell swoop!

I like the older Power Max and Step Works. Among Cathe's new cardio workouts, my all-time fave is IMAX 2. I also like Body Blast and KPC, the cardio portions of CTX All Step, CTX Step & Intervals and CTX Kickbox, the step only premix of SJP and Cardio & Weights (although the entire workout also rocks) and the challenge section of Rhythmic Step. I use IMAX 1 and MIC when I need a change.

Pinky

1. Rhythmic Step
2. Kick Punch and Crunch
3. Step from BB (I think it's step blast)
4. Cardio from CTX (most all of it except hi/low which I don't like anyway)
5. Cardio Kicks (but I don't have much room in my basement, so I get frustrated a bit)

Hi Debbie! The CTX series worked the best for me as far as fat burning but I didn't see much of a difference in my upper body strength. However, when I purchased IMAX2 & incorporating this one 1x a week I had even better results w/fat burning. I would do IMAX2 once a week as well as KP&C once a week. You can mix & match your strength training (i.e. upper body one day, lower body the next day, then IMAX2, then one of the circuit tapes or total body tapes & then round out the week doing some yoga). Just a suggestion. HTH, Kathy:D

I am really having fun with all of the Body Blast series.
I don't think there is even one that I don't do all of the time.
SO;
1) Any body blast
2) Intensity series IMax2 and Cardio and Weights. I never warmed up to boot camp.
3) Rhythmic Step
4) Step Works, Power Max, Step Jam, Step Max, and the wedding tape.

KPJ
MIC
BOOTCAMP
CARDIO KICKS
ALL OF CTX
POWER HOUR
MUSCLE ENDURANCE

WHEN I'M IN STEP MODE:
IMAX 1
BODYMAX
