Ditto. Though you could also get the fat by adding some olives or avocado or nuts to your salad, and if you eat a salad as part of a meal, you will be getting fat in the rest of the meal.
I usually don't use dressing, and just eat my salads "naked" (with some olives or nuts or sunflower seeds added) and have actually grown to prefer the taste of naked veggies! But when I make bean salad to share, I use Zesty Italian dressing because it has a lot of flavor in a small amount.
