I currently have the fanny lifter. I'm thinking of getting cathe's new dvds plus the leg and glutes. Shoul I invest in the high step and get rid of the fanny lifter. Can you use the high step with the firm. Also has anyone ordered the new firms and rcvd. them...wondering how the new box is....so much equipment.

Thanks for any replies....have a good night

I love my high step!! Way more versatile than the Fanny Lifter because you can really vary the height with the risers, and more stable too. I still have mine for when my kids or friends want to work out with me, but I personally don't use it anymore. I also like that all the risers combined from my regualar long step and the high step make a nice bench height for bench work. It all just works together and storage is combined.

Oh, you can definitely use the high step with the Firm. It is essentially the same size, just way more variety with the risers. I don't have the newest firm box. I saw it, but it really looks like "one more thing to buy". If you had the Reebok Step and the High Step you would be set!:) Put the rest in storage or sell it.

If you are going to purchase L&G and other Cathe videos, you should invest in the high step. In L&G, Cathe starts the workout using all the risers, then later in the workout she lowers it using only three. It looks like she is doing the same thing in the new advanced DVD that's coming out.

I agree with the others about the versatility of the high step. But I'd like to add that I had the fanny lifter and sold it on ebay before my high step arrived. I'm sorry that I did. I had four risers from my regular step (purpley-pink) and so only ordered the high step top and one black riser. The bottom riser seems to move around quite a bit and the black riser doesn't seem to quite fit on the purple ones, so it feels less secure than the fanny lifter did.

Just my two cents. Keep in mind I've read others don't have this problem if they have all black risers.

Best,
Liz
