Fake Tans...

>Actually staying tan
>all summer is safer than burning.

I used to love suntanning outside; did it for a couple years in my teens, but now I regret it, and always will. My skin already had a naturally golden tone to it, but because of laying out in the sun, that has altered my skin tone, and I no longer have that golden look to my skin.

It's a common misconception that staying tan all summer is safer than burning; a tan sure looks healthy, but it's not, and the consequences down the road won't be as enjoyable as the present gratification.

I occasionally use the Banana Boat Medium. It's pretty good, I think -- I've never tried Neutrogena . . . I'll have to check it out sometime.

so many comments. I agree, sadly, that sunshin is just not good for you. Sure you get vit D from it, but you must protect yourskin. However, moderation is good. Thanks for all the great info...did a fake tan, left it on for 1 hour 30 mins, now i'm nice and sun kissed. Yep its dark, yep its winter and nope, no one has noticed and said "wow you look brown"...but i like the colour and i feel better. x
