Here is a silly question. What exactly does lifting to failure mean? Are you so tired you absolutely cannot lift it, or is it that you can lift the weight bit your form is no longer good? Thanks
Both. If your form is poor, it probably means the targeted muscle has conked out and you are using other muscles to lift the weight, and putting yourself at risk for injury. And of course, if you can't even lift the weight at all, that's a more obvious failure.
