Anyone watching this or watched this? That same tornado hit our town and destroyed several neighborhoods. My SIL helped frame that house.

I missed tonight's episode. I love that show. Too cool that SIL helped out. I can't wait for an episode in February or March. DD was in the "move that bus" crowd. It is so cool to have one close and be able to watch it being built.

Tonight, I'd thought I would watch. I know people in Manhattan area. That is great that your SIL framed the house. How are you and your town's rebuild progressing? A friend of mine's cousin had a house built by EHM two years ago. My DB and SIL knows a patient in CA that was at Duke with my family. Sometimes it's a small world.

I just finished watching it. I'm from a small town in KS too. My best friend's DH is from Chapman. His family's house was hit, but they were able to rebuild. I hadn't heard that the schools were supposed to be their safe places. Wow! Thank goodness the schools weren't full of people that night. Scary.
Yeah, I just watched this tonight! I live in Kansas, grew up very near Chapman, and have friends in that area. I saw the son of our friends in the crowd of high school students. It was so cool! I also liked that they helped other families in the town, too. In Kansas, there are many small towns, and everyone knows and helps out everyone when they're in need.

The rebuilding process is still going on some people didn't even have insurance on their houses and the ones that did are not getting enough to rebuild or replace what they lost. My SIL built alot of the houses in the area that was hit and they were all expensive houses and they were still standing but seriously damaged his company has been asked to rebuild alot of them even some they did build the first time. All of you that live in Kansas where do you live? As you know I live in Manhattan.

I use to work at Belleville Health Care Center, my folks lived there and I lived in Concordia, I also lived in Haddam so I am quite familiar with where you live.

Roxie, I watched EHM last night. Very cool that they were able to help others in town as well.
They did a house in Albuquerque last year - kids and I went over to see it during the process. Couldn't do the "move that bus" thing, though. Kids were in school & I was working

Its not exactly a hot spot thats for sure. We lived there 13 years my oldest DD graduated from there then we moved to manhattan and have lived here for almost yrs. My SIL is from Kingman somewhere near wichita.

I went to school at North Central in Morrowville. That is even crazier. My relatives live in cuba anyone with the last name of Zenger is my relative.
OMG, Roxie! I used to teach with a Tiemeyer from Morrowville. Her husband built the addition to our house! Cuba has consolidated with Belleville now, and we have friends from Cuba whose son is in our son's class by the name of Zenger. They're sophomores in high school. This is unbelievable!

What do you teach in Concordia? My DDs and I use to coach the swim team there. Which Teigemeyer did you teach with? I can't believe there is a fellow catheite not to far away.
