Use the activity calculator and input the time plus intensity (low, moderate, high). I use moderate for most workouts because I have periods of lower intensity work, like warmups and cooldowns, mixed with higher intensity work. Moderate is right in the middle, so I get some fuel for my activity without over eating points.
