Champion seems to have a bra for every physique & range of activity. The major department stores usually carry their line.
The best source for bras is Title Nine Sports (title9sports.com) but they charge a premium. They have a wide line & all of the bras are rated for impact & categorized (e.g. "recommended for A-C cups when chafing or moisture build-up is a problem").
I'm a 34C and like Champion's bras. As for a cheap sports bra, the only cheap ones I see offer little support. Whenever I try to buy one of these, I'm disappointed. You may have to spend around $30 for a good one. I look for sales at sporting goods stores and department stores. I just got some Champion bras on sale, plus I used a coupon from the newspaper. So you just need to shop around.
The website www.mysportsbra.com will help you out. It shows tons of different brands, styles, etc. and shows the support it gives. You may want to try them on in a store, but this will give you an idea.

I agree that if you're a bit larger busted as I am, Champion is the best choice. Danskin makes some decent ones too but for my area, they're harder to find.
Guess I'm in the minority here, but being the "cheapo" I am, even at my heaviest when I was wearing a 54DD, I got my my sports bras from either Lane Bryant.com or Roamans.com and they are $15., catch them on sale, and you can get them for $12 or even $10. sometimes! They're not fancy, just the plain racer back sports bra, they come in 4 colors and a print, and I found they held me just fine for all activities. And anything that maintains you for Cathe cardio has got to be okay!
I've used the same bras all the way down to 36D, so I can tell you they work just fine!

I have to 'double bag' and I like http://www.title9sports.com/ for my sports bras. They carry bras for the more well-endowed and provide varying degrees of bounce control.

Donna - did those ... ahem... keep things on place for high-impact activities? Since I started doing an interval workout I allow myself some jumping during that workout, but it's just terrible on certain parts of my body. I've got a cheapo uniboob one that just doesn't do a good job.
I'm a very full 36D, and I HATE any bouncing whatsoever. None of those racer back bras hold me in place the way I would like.
This may sound a little odd, but if I am doing anything high impact, I always wear 2 bras - one right on top of the other. First I put on the 'minimizer' bra. You can find these at any department store. It will say on the label that they are guaranteed to reduce your bust 1"-1.5". You can also find these bras at discount stores like Ross, Marshall's, TJ Maxx.... They are great!! And they hold their shape really well. I prefer the ones with the underwire, but they also come without it. Next, I put on a Champion exercise bra - not the racer back, their sports bra looks like a regular bra, but is a lot more sturdy. And voila! No bouncing. Everything stays in place.
I think Cathe's crew always looks so cute in their tops, but alas, I realize these are not for me. At least not on high intensity days.
