Hi Cathe,

I was hoping that you might help me in transitioning my workouts and stepping up to your workouts in the best manner. I have been working out for years and consider myself an "intermediate". FTR I have mostly done Taebo for cardio and FIRM workouts for weights plus my own free weight training. Once I stumbled upon your workouts, I KNEW that this is where I need to go! Every single one of your clients is a RAVING fan and after perusing the video clips on your site I can see why. There simply are no other weight workouts out there like this.

My question is, based on my experience (and my level, currently I work out about 6 days a week alternating an hour of cardio and an hour of weight/interval workouts every other day)how would you suggest I start to transition into your workouts?

I purchased three DVDs already but want to be sure I proceed in an appropriate manner; one that will teach me the step moves gradually (I haven't really been doing step workouts for years.., just started again) and one that will get me started with free weights and work up to heavier barbells.

I would SO appreciate your reply when convenient, and thank you for doing what you do!! I am so excited, its all I can do to hold back and not buy all the DVDs now!

I'd love to hear feedback from any of your long time clients on this board also!

Much appreciated!

Welcome Kelly! Nice to have you join us. You sound like you are in great shape and enthusiastic to go further. I will glady give you some exercise advice but it would be helpful if you could list the DVD's you already purchased so that I can be more thorough. Thanks!

Cathe,

Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to respond to me. That was a bad oversight on my part for not listing what I have purchased thus far.

I have:

Kick, Punch and Crunch & Legs and Glutes
Low Max
imax 2 + Cardio and Weights

I want to work up to all of them eventually but my reason for writing you is I notice the use of barbells in many of your videos ~ I am assuming I would work up to that level of weight (I do have barbells and free weights at home. Free weights up to 15 pounds, then my husband's free weights start at 25...probably need to fill in the gap.)

I look forward to your recommendations and getting started. And thank you for doing what you do!!

Kind Regards,
Kelly
