example of weekly menu

Hi Cathe and everyone,

I've tried to eat clean (along with working out 5 - 6 times/wk) but not very successful. So I'm still trying to improve my diet. I try to eat 6 meals a day but it's a tough job :) Lately I've added protein drinks to my snacks (once or twice a day) because I was so sick of egg whites!!!!

Anyway, I wonder where I can find good example of weekly or even daily menu to use as a guide line.

I eat 5 small meals a day. With that I have protein, carbs and a small amount of fat. That's it! Easy to remember and easy to do. The hardest part is planing it when you need to go out and about. I have one protein shake a day, and that is after a workout. The shake includes protein, carbs and a small amount of fat.

Examples:

Chicken, turkey or beef grilled, tossed in a salad with copped veggies and a nice vinaigrette.

Chicken, turkey or beef grilled and wrapped in a whole wheat soft tortilla with chopped peppers and tomatoes, black beans, a little shredded cheese and or avocado.

Cottage cheese and chopped veggies or fruit.

Whey protein shake with soy milk and fruit.
