I just got this one about a two weeks ago and have been loving it!

I know it gets an intermediate score doing them as is, but WOWSA those PREMIXES ROCK!!!

For some reason, they are FUN TO ME and I am SORE!!! Must be doing those shoulder pushups two times in a row that really get my muscles crankin' - - there are sooooooo many ways to use this dvd!!!!

I agree! The workouts as they are are indeed intermediate, but those premixed rock! The Upper x2 or x3 works my back like no other workout except P90X.

I did the Lower x 3 ONCE - I remember seeing stars.

Judy put together an Upper Body mish mosh from both that is guaranteed to make you ache the next day. I'll see if I can find it.

These are actually two of my favorite workouts! They aren't drop-dead tough, but I dont' want to workout so hard all of the time. They are fun and just difficult enough; I haven't even tried the premixes yet :).

I got these about 6 weeks ago and LOVE the premixes!! Even doing UB 2x or LB 2x is tough. I admit I haven't done 3x yet, but I plan to!! I like PP premixes better than SS, but it comes in a close 2nd!!
 
I thnk the whole balst series is a BLAST! Really though, there are so many premixes and options - there are endless opportunites on all three DVD's. This is why I like it that SNM is doing the new series on two DVD's!

Step Blast & Wt. Circuits is still one of my favorite circuit workouts. There are at least 12 premixes for SJP & SB. I must say that I haven't donw the PP or Supersets in a while. Just reading this thread has made me remember the options on this one. I love doing the lower body one 2x or 3x.

I think I will take this one up to my cottage and do it again. I am also going to bring up the Terminator. I did that one so much in 2002 and 2003 - I kind of got sick of it. But I pulled it out tonight for a change of pace. My favorite was the Viper, then IMAX Xtreme comes in second!

This is the one dvd from the BB series that I don't have and it looks like I really should get it! I agree that the whole series is a blast and the premix options are incredible!

My poor, poor credit card...
 
This DVD is one you can do heavy, as is and get a solid work-out in under an hour. Yes the pre-mixes are great, but the work-out itself is great too. The abs on PP are too short, so I do them, and then tack on SS abs as one unit.
 
Yes if you don't have it BUY IT!!!

I waited about three years before buying it and wish I had it sooner!!

Tonight I am thinking of doing upper body PP 2X
Lower body PP
Lower Body SS

Should be fun :) LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!
 
I also agree with everyone else. I did the Push Pull Upper Body 3x last week and the Supersets Upper Body 2x this week and they're both really good. The exercises in these are a little different than everything else so it's a nice change. Supersets has more reps per exercise than PP so it's a little tougher. The concentration curls in SS go on forever - there are about 30 reps! I also really like the music in both of these.

I agree that the premixes make the workouts.
I haven't done these for a long time, but the double (or triple) upper body premixes are sounding like a good option for my next upper body workout.
