Firmscorpio and I are riding the Five Boro Bike Tour in NY tomorrow. It is a 42 bike ride through the 5 boros of New York. A great ride and a great way to see some sites! You starts in Battery Park and ends by biking over the Verranzano Bridge and into Staten Island. So far, the NYC weather says sunny and warm, but we are hoping for no rain! Everyone cross your fingers for NO RAIN!
My DH and stepson are signed up for it too, Christine. I did it with them one year but wound up with an awful knee injury and never did it again. They also do the BIG one in September, which is 100 miles.

I'm working on the NO SNOW issue here. We signed up our entire family to help clean up the camp where they go in summer. It was a hard sell - seeing as it's already snowing it's going to be a really tough day. Oh well, we did it to give our teenagers something in their lives that wasn't about them - raking leaves in the snow sure fits that bill! Ughh!
Here's a vibe from me. I'll go a step further and TAKE the rain if I must. We can always use it. I have to get Sam up for an early soccerr game. They are scheduled early in April and May because it gets so darn hot but they are going to freezing (all things being relative) since it's been so lovely and (all things being relative) cool.
