Cathlete
Now that STS is here I'm really sorry that I cancelled my preorder!!!

It's on the top of my birthday list for July and I was wondering what additional equipment (other than the Cathe "standards") is needed. I'd like to start stocking up now so I'm ready to go!!!

TIA!

Equipment needed for STS

The equipment needed for STS is a bench or step, a weight adjustable barbell, a wide variety of dumbbells, a stability ball, a resistance band, paper plates, and good focus. Other pieces of equipment are totally optional such as a pull up bar (or tubing), weighted vest, ankle weights, micro load weighted gloves, and slanted risers.

More information about STS can be found at http://www.cathe.com/sts

Equipment

I have had to use some "creative" methods which may not be advised. The business I was working at closed last November and I have been unemployed. I just recently went back to work but I don't have the extra money to spend right now.
For inclines and bench I use the stability ball.
I don't have a barbell but use my dumbells. Yes, I am not getting as good of results as I could but I will have the chance to do the mesocycles again this year and by that time I will have saved enough money to get the other things.
For the high step, my husband took an old milk crate and added wood with carpeting on top. It works but it might be a tad bit too high. Oh well, I just work that much harder.
Hope that helps. If you can be creative you will be able to do the program without having to spend too much money!!!

Thanks for the reply.

I have most of the "standard stuff" that Cathe uses. I don't have the $$ right now for the extras (which is one of the reasons that I cancelled my original preorder), but hopefully I can save up some money and get it along the way!
