Equipment needed for STS

Cathlete
SNM can you give us a list of equipment needed for STS? That is, if one were to not improvise.
So far, it looks like
slanted risers,
squat bar/bench - I am assuming this will be used for chest and legs
pull up bar

Cheers,
-Jane

Hi Jane....Other than an optional squat rack, optional slanted risers, and pull up apparatus, you will need the same variety of equipment as in our other workouts (ie: various weighted dumbbells, weighted barbell, band/tubing, med ball, stability ball, ankle weights, high step (or chair from home), standard step (or weight bench). :)

Cathe,

What type of pull up apparatus would you recommend, I really don't want to put holes in the ceiling? Are there some that go over the door that are better than others? What size of med ball will we need? I live in s rural community and need to shop ahead when I go to the big city. I want to have everything I need when the system shows up. I have already preordered.

One other question on a different topic. Will you ever make a heavy boxing bag DVD work out? I can't find one anywhere. It would be great to combine your 4 day split - boot camp and kickboxing - with a heavy bag - punch and kick the bag but also moutian climbers, jog in place - then down for push-ups, jump rope, etc. I saw that you were having boxing gloves with your new fitness line a heavy bag DVD would be a perfect next step!!

Hope your answer is yes.

Nella Bea:)

Nella Bea,
What a neat idea, I really think that the boxing bag is such a
good idea for Cathe.

I would like to reiterate the question pertaining to the pull up bar. I don't have one either and do not know what type to get, what is good value for the money, etc. Any advice Cathe according to the design of your workouts?

Clare, I believe a "PX" is like a big department store on US military bases.

A PX is called Post Exchange, it is the main store on an Army base. A BX is Base Exchange which is on an Air Force Base.
