Commercial microdosing sites use actually "snacks" as a synonym for microdosing workouts!
Didn't we learn from health and nutrition experts that "snacks" between (here: workouts!) are not healthy and living only on "snacks" is dangrous!

I got in touch with mrs 2 lazy 4 the gym. She is a tough Cathlete currently easing back into lifting her usual stuff. She likes cathe’s stuffs. I am happy to report she is hopeful and positive.

As reported in the past, she went through chemo. The real issue is arthritis and/or side effect of the treatments. It has got nothing to do with any excuse. Neither has it got to do with any alleged hypertrophy-obsession. She is happy to mind her own business lifting her own body.

Surprised to read, many times on the forum, about excuses because of injuries! Even, the 2Lazy4theGym lady announced on her blog that she stopped lifting completely, shifting to just body-weight training, becuase of injuries. Aren't you guys overdoing it, causing injuries instead of sustainable healthy strength? Just a curious question!

My Absense​

Since I’ve gotten a few email queries, this is just a note to share that I am fine. Due to my shoulder issues, I stopped lifting weights and have been doing bodyweight strength workouts almost exclusively through Mark Lauren‘s app and that is working very well for me. I may do a post about it, but I don’t know when. It’s a great app and I highly recommend it (marklauren.com), but there is a lot going on in my life right now and I just don’t feel like I have the time anymore. Health-wise I am fine other than shoulder pain that I am undergoing medical treatment for. This blog is not going anywhere. I still use it regularly to choose workouts, mostly rebounder and mobility workouts since strength is via Mark Lauren. One day I hope to be back to writing workout reviews and breakdowns.

Sorry to hear of your tendonitis.... I think you've been dealing with it for awhile now. I hope it's not a labrum tear - I had an acquaintance who had one & she suffered quite a bit.

No, it's not a labrum tear fortunately. The initial flare up was back in November 2022. It was pretty much healed, and I was starting to incorporate high step and a bit of jumping into my workouts when it happened again in July 2024, same cause, driving in stop/start traffic for a prolonged period. Then it happened again in September last year. It is really frustrating, but I have a bunch of rehab drills that I do daily and also use infrared light therapy on it. It is getting better but will still hurt for a few days after longer drives and it doesn't feel stable enough yet to do jumping and high step work.

I notice that some of the sets are more expensive than the individual DVDs together (see Step Boss - $5.99 *3 = $17.98 vs $20.98 for the set). Is there an advantage to the set? Does it come in a consolidated package that takes up less space perhaps?

Hee, hee…I thought about it, but I already have a bunch of STS2 add-ons which range
from 5 min to 10 min or so…. I guess they’re my micro doses or snacks!!
