EFA Supplements

Hi All!

Hoping the educated Cathe crowd can provide some guidance on supplementing with EFA's. I've read some reports regarding the importance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids in the diet, and reports on the benefits they provide (good for heart health, depression, etc.) Does anyone here supplement with Omega's, and if so, could you fill me in on any changes/benefits you've noticed??

Good sources include Cod Liver Oil (the best), Flax Seed Oil (the best if you are a vegetarian), Evening Primrose Oil.
Cod Liver Oil is the best supply of both 6s and 3s.
These oils are also a must if you are on a low fat diet, as reports have shown that lack of good oils/EFAs in the diet does cause depression, so supplementing is a good idea, in capsule form, therefore only small amounts of calories, too.

I take Flaxseed Oil and Evening Primrose Oil :)
