Ed. Crowd? Goosebumps when not cold and sugar alcohol

What's it mean when you get goosebumps during exercise (but you're not cold)?

Also, are there any side effects to sugar alcohol? In candy it seems to taste so good. Why isn't it used in all low-sugar foods to make them NO-sugar?

I can't answer your first question, but the second - yes, there are side effects to sugar alcohols. For some people, they can cause digestive upset. It depends on how sensitive you are and how much you consume.

I get this sometimes, I experience it and explain it to myself as my skin, which was too dry and stretched tight, suddenly reacting to the large amount of sweat which is being generated everywhere! It is a really odd feeling, lasts briefly, then the skin adapts.

If it 'aint that, then heavens knows what it might be, but I wouldn't worry about it if I were you!

The only time I had that happen was when I was running outside and it was sunny and quite warm. I stopped sweating. When I finished the run I broke into goosebumps and the sweat came pouring off of me. I believe it was hyperthermia- I just got too hot and my internal temperature started to rise. (I think I got that word right) I really didn't feel good when this happened. Almost fainted. Slugged down a can of coke (high test - lots of sugar) and I started to feel better.

Maybe this sounds strange, but some moments get me excited and I'll get goosbumps. Like for instance, in Bootcamp, when we'er about to start the areobic section and Quite Riot music starts and Cathe gives her very insentive motivation sentances, I do, I get goosebumps everytime.
