PayPal almost always sides with the buyer so I think you will be fine. Make sure to open a dispute with eBay as well though. And leave negative feedback for this buyer stating exactly what the problem is once everything is settled. I think a lot of people who have a bad experience forget to do that. Also, I like to read the actual negative feedbacks for sellers even if they have a good rating. Sometimes, a buyer may have 98% feedback, but they sold 100000 things and still have a bunch of negative comments but not enough to affect the overall percentage. We've had that happen with DH where he bought from someone with a high percentage and then had problems. When he went back to read some of that persons negative comments, he found a bunch that had the same problem as he did. Because that person was a store though and sold SO many items, those few hundred negative comments didn't make a dent in the person's overall percentage.
