Eating on the night shift

I am a nurse who works a night shift and I don't know what to eat! I try to eat a late dinner, usually around 8 or 9, but I get really hungry the rest of the night. I've been eating pretty good snacks- lots of granola bars and hot chocolate, but I'm gaining weight. I think I need more protein, but I don't want anything too heavy in the middle of the night. Any good protein suggestions for snacks?? Thanks!

How about roasted edamame? High in protein, low in fat and no refrigeration needed! Of course you could take a protein shake in a shaker cup. If you can take a cooler, there is also light string cheese, lunch meat, cooked turkey or chicken breast, low fat yogurt, or low fat cottage cheese. Hope this helps!
