Hi Cathe:)
Help,
I want to know how to build muscle like you.
My partner pushes the cardio, eating lifting. I get that, but she seems to lack the healthy look you have. She has muscle but it looks more like muscle and bone. She is on the no carbs diet.

I am confused about what to eat I am very petite 5 feet on a good day and 95-100lbs.
I eat somewhat clean every three hours. I just want to lose the extra stuff without compromising the good muscle I am starting to see. I love my workout buddy, but she is too skinny and I don't want her meal plan. There is so much stuff out there to read about eating !!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what is right for me.

She does protein shakes twice a day, but they kill my tummy.

Any advice would be great.

Hi Sue! I agree protein shakes can be hard on some people's tummy's. Try eating 6 small meals a day every 2 to 3 hours per day.

A day's worth of samples:

7 am...1 cup of old fashioned oatmeal (no instant), small handful blueberries, 1 glass of skim milk, water.


9:30 am....one granny smith apple and 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese, water


12 noon...grilled 99 percent lean turkey burger, mixed baby green salad with a spritzer bottle to lightly wet your salad with low fat dressing, 1/2 cup brown rice, water


2:30 pm....small banana with a scoop of peanut butter spread on a low salt rice cake, water


5 pm....salmon, steamed brocolli, and 1/2 sweet potatoe, water


7:30 pm...dish of low fat frozen vanilla yogurt with fresh blackberries and fresh red raspberries on top, water


9 pm....cup of green tea and some fun reading material
