Eat clean?

I just noticed Cathe using the expression, "eat clean." What does that mean?

I'm a vegetarian, no fish or meat, but eggs and cheese we do eat.

Could someone explain that for me, please?

Debbie - basically, I believe it means to eat food as close to its natural state as possible. There are lots of posts on the subject, if you want to do further research. Lots of people here follow it to some point or another. Omit the "bad" fats, no processed foods, stuff like that.

I just posted a question about it on the Open forum, whether cheese is considered clean. I got two replies that kind of said probably not, since it's so high in bad fats.

Does this help?
