I know there are a lot of people here that eat clean already, but those of you who don't, here is some extra motivation!!

Hmm, I'm going to hijack this thread by what I'm about to post, but I'm actually insulted by trixie's sig line since I am a size 4 (sometimes 2) and I still have a higher bodyfat percentage than I'd like. And, I don't like being referred to as a boy with breasts.

If I changed my sig line to "I hate when women wear size 18 or 20 and think they're not fat, because, let's face it, you're fat" I'm sure my head would be in flames on a stick.

Whatever our size, we shouldn't be belittled or dismissed for voicing our disappointments, goals, achievements, whatever.

I know that this signature line was meant to be funny, but I also take offense at it. It's not so funny -- and is, in fact, hurtful -- when you're on the receiving end of a comment like that.

Like MadnNatsmom, I also hope that these forums can be a place where people of all shapes and sizes are not belittled for what they look like, regardless of what that shape and size might be. A signature line like that seems inappropriate on a forum where so many of us are struggling to accept our bodies, just as they are.

I usually just lurk but, I'm glad you said something MadnNatsmom! I am a size 00 and ignore and bite my tongue constantly regarding remarks and "jokes". I'm sure nothing was meant by the tag line but I just don't understand why it's acceptable to joke and poke fun at smaller, thinner people.
