Earthquake

I didn't feel the quake but felt the aftershock. We live an hour south of STL.

My DH felt the quake.... he was sleeping in DS's room because DS woke yesterday morning crying and shaking and carrying on about a mouse which he described as YELLOW and about the size of our dog (a 10# dog).... we are talkin' a big mouse. Anyhoo, DH said his first though, "wow, that must be 100# mouse" LOL!

Yep. I felt it. Didn't wake Ds up. I ran to his room to get him. WHere is everyone? I am in Evansville, IN

Here in Springfield, IL I felt it. Woke up to the bed shaking, very strange feeling. I can't believe how widespread it was felt!

It certainly makes one look at our 'solid Earth' in a bit of a different way!

That reminds me of my old boss - he was from NYC and I swear he was in the Mafia. He happen to be out here in San Jose during a quake. He leapt out of bed, and was looking for a weapon as he thought there was someone under the bed shaking it, when he realized that he was still shaking. Then it hit him that there was an earthquake. He never did explain why he thought someone would be under his bed, but hey...

My neighbour told me about the time it happened, it woke me from a deep sleep and my cats were going nuts.
I live 2 hours from Chicago.

I'm in Owensville , Indiana and we really felt it stopped our mantle and grandfather clock and really shook us up, it seemed to go on forever!!!!

Wow Owensville! My inlaws live in Ft Branch. Wonder how many other Catheites are near us?

Well it's 10:10pm here and Indiana and that was either another quake or a really good aftershock! The second quake at 10:15 am was a quake and I thought that was a aftershock so now I'm not sure?!:7
