DW has given me the warning..!!

I'd like to share with all of you the contents of a note that DW lovingly left for me on our fridge this morning before she left for work...

"Now that the expensive Lenox ornaments are on our tree, you are hereby prohibited from any Cathe-style jumping jack until such time as the decorations come down, Be Warned"!!

If I'm not around these parts in the coming months, you'll know I didn't listen....:p

Modifying could just save a life (mine) this holiday season!!!!

I do tend to rattle the house just a trifle during my workouts.

Happy holidays!

Jerry

that is so funny!

maybe you could take them off while you workout and put them back on when you are done?

You have no idea how many ornaments we're talking here....taking them down is a workout in and of itself....

Do you have any bells on the tree? Because you know, every time a bell rings an angel gets her/his wings. I guess you could probably use a few angels if you break anything!

Anyway, good luck without rockin' around the Christmas tree!

Keli

Hi Jerry,
You could try doing the "flying angels" (from KPC) as a modifier for jacks. If those still shake the rafters, just keep them grounded.
I frequently do these in place of long jack sequences--it saves my knees a lot of wear and tear and I still get my heart rate up.
HTH and good luck!

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

Actually, we do have a cat...the Lenox ornaments are placed high atop the tree, out of the cats' reach....I think.

I totally understand your wife's warning as I had to issue a similar one to my jumping jack husband who always works out in the basement but "warms up" in the living room. No Lenox here but the tree stand we bought this year is slightly small and I fear the tree will tip if the room shakes too much. It's hard to retrain a husband!!!!! x(
