DVD PREORDER BLISS......redefined

As usual Ajock is 110% correct on her "take" of the DVD waiting game and the value of Cathe's tapes.

Here's my take on this waiting game from a prego's point of view. Preordering Cathe's DVDs is much like the process of childbirth.

The actual event of Cathe conceiving such an idea as the BB DVD's and calling in the preorder and excitement and sheer joy that come from knowing that you are going to receive Cathe's unsurpassed bundle of......workouts.....can only be compared to.............

Then, you wait.........patiently and look forward to your monthly preorder updates. Sometimes the news is favorable - everything is going well. Other times, there are setbacks and more patience is in order. Sometimes you are lucky and at your monthly check (okay daily) you receive a picture of the blessed event to come.....and this just makes you more insane.....wanting, yearning to see the actual product, to hold it in your hands, view it with your eyes, touch it's plasticy case.

And then you have the usual worries associated with the delivery, will it be on time, will it come late, will there be a snowstorm that will keep the UPS man from getting up your drive, will it be a holiday and delivery will be delayed for a day, oh the worries that accompany the wait for Cathe's DVD's. And you begin to ask questions like, is there anything I can do to get it to come earlier, can this be induced...overnight delivery, maybe I could pick up from the UPS center, or better yet drive to Cathe's studio and pick it up there at the moment of release.

Finally the moment arrives and yes it appears that this process went a little overdue, BUT...once you have those tapes in your possession you will never remember the wait.....it will all be worth it.

This made me chuckle!

Looks like your getting ready for two very important deliveries in the near future. The question becomes, which one will show up first?:D

Briee, you are so funny! What a great anaolgy. Can't think why you'd have those thoughts!

Sadly, my bundle of joy will arrive later than the due date since I live in Tucson and it takes 7 to 10 business days for the stork to get here! On the bright side, I have not gained 38 pounds waiting for this baby!

P.S. My birthday is December 18! We know you'll be getting into tip top shape after you little one arrives! Happy baby to you and a smooth delivery!

Briee, what an adorable post! Pregnancy has sharpened your wit indeed, little mom!

And you've taken such good care of yourself while waiting for BOTH deliveries that you'll be enjoying BOTH, in no time! :)

Pat that tummy for me, will you? ;-) I have such fond memories of that giant-belly phase!!! (Think about Cathe doing those bicep curls -- "Comin' down the home stretch..."!)

Briee - that was awesome! Considering you're working on Miracle #6, you do know whereof you speak in the analogy department!

Thanks for the upper!
