DVD Player Advice Please!

Hello everyone! I am purchasing a DVD player and would like advice from those of you who own one. I found some information on what to look for on videofitness, but they only had a few DVD players listed that worked properly when programming across titles and across multiple DVD discs for more workout options. Walmart and Best Buy did not have these particular DVD player's listed on the website and like the article said the sales clerks weren't very helpful.

Please let me know what brands/models you have that are programmable across titles and mulitiple DVD discs. I will probably buy a single disc or three disc player.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi Angela!

I just got the Sony DVP NC615, Five Disc, Cross Programmable DVD player for Valentines Day and I love it. It truly does cross program across all 5 discs. It was purchased at Best Buy and I think it was around $140? Since it was a gift I'm not positive. I did see this model on the Best Buy web site as well as the Crutchfield's (sp?) web site. Hope that helps. You will LOVE your DVD player. It's taking all of my self discipline not to order Cathe's entire DVD collection!!! :D

I second SooFit's emotion about the 5-disc DVD player! Mine too is a Sony with an alphabet soup model number that DH and I got this past December, on sale at Best Buy for about $168.00. (And it looks like they're already dropping in price.) They make Cathe workouts a never-ending creative exercise (pardon the pun)!

Angela, if you're gonna make the investment don't waste $$ on a single- or a 3-disc player. The 5-disker will revolutionize your world! And Soo-Fit - scr*w self-discipline. Get the entire DVD collection toot sweet, and you'll rock your world! Spending $$$ on exercise equipment that you know you'll use over and over again is always an investment in your health and happiness!

I so agree with that!!! I ended up getting the whole DVD collection. I ordered like 2 or 3 at a time and ended up with the whole thing. If I would have ordered it all at once I would have saved $$, but to me they are worth every last penny!! As far as DVD players go, I wanted a DVD/VHS player in one, so mine only plays one at a time, but I still love it! It's a Toshiba...too bad they don't make a VHS/5 DVD disc player in one...that would be nice!!
