Dumbells instead of barbell

Do you think it would be as effective to use dumbells instead of a barbell in most of your workouts? Dumbells are just easier for me to grab and I can usually lift heavier with them.

Hi Fitstick! Dumbbells and barbells are both effective and each offer a unique dimension to your workout. But if dumbbells are what you prefer, sure, go ahead and use them. I would however suggest including a barbell once every 4 workouts to get a different response from your muscles. Take Care!
