Dumb Question

Ok, I give - what's DOM - I suspect its what I'm feeling today after having done PUB yesterday for the first time, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it stands for!

I read the PLB posting and from the context I think that DOMS stands for delayed onset muscle soreness, which I definitely felt after both PLB and PUB (actually I'm still feeling it!) I'm pretty sure that's what it is but hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

I believe Angela is right (unless someone is using their own abbreviations). FYI, it usually is abbreviated DOMS.
 
Thanks you two! And when you refer to DOMS, does that cover muscle soreness you get by the next day or two, or is it specifically referring to muscle soreness that catches up 2 days later (that one is always the more wicked option for me!)?

You are correct, DOMS is that soreness you feel a few days after the workout. I usually feel it the very next day & it's gone by 48 hours later. The old man doesn't feel it for 48 hours after & he says its excrutiating.
