DD said she'll be home to hand out candy tonight. Yay, I can go hide in the bedroom.

LOL at all the pushups being done. I'd better behave today. I'm planning on BBC chest and abs this afternoon and don't want to do any more push ups then I have to.

My chicken sausage sandwich was delicious! When I was shopping for them, I noticed a whole selection of different flavors. Yum! I can't wait to try more. DH is working tonight, so dinner will be a big, healthy salad.

Morning Robin!

Yesterday was really good with the exception of one measly cookie. I'm really pleased. Someone offered me Reese PB Cups and I TURNED THEM DOWN!!! Last night I did the Cardio premix from the new series, the KB/BC one. Oh man, it was FUN! I'm not entirely sure it was good for my elbow but frankly, I don't care:p

All right, today is going to be a tough one! Everyone got their game face on?

Robin - I'm glad you don't have to hand out candy. I saw a cute cartoon on the weekend where the guy was just pouring a scoop of sugar into each kid's trick or treat bag:p
 
Hi guys... can I jump in here?

My goal is to lose 30 pounds by Feb 1. I am down 15, and have 15 to go..I too am a sugar-a-holic! Today is the worst day for me.. between what they will be having all over at work and handing out those little candy bars tonight.., dealing with the leftovers! Some little kids towards the end of the night are going to wonder why I am giving each of them 6 bars! ( we also give out tooth brushes as DH is a dentist!).

Hopefully it will only last a couple of hours!}(

There are supposed to be treats in the breakroom later today. I don't think I'll have a problem avoiding them, but may sneak back in here for encouragement.

Way to go on turning down the PB cup, Shelley. They are one of my weaknesses too.

Deb, way to go on the first 15 pounds. Hopefully we'll get that last 15 off you by Feb. Is something going on that month or is that just the target date you picked? LOL about giving out toothbrushes. What a great idea!

Robin, have fun with BBC Chest and Abs. I did that one yesterday - OMG, soooooo many pushups! I suck at pushups. I did the vast majority of them on my knees.

Shelley, I bow down before your peanut-butter-cup-resisting-self. I don't know if I have the strength to turn down a peanut butter cup. Therefore it is a very good thing that there are no peanut butter cups in sight at the moment! ;)

Deb, welcome to the group. You have done awesome already! Keep up the good work. :)

I am thankful today for a coworker who brought in homemade hummus and pita bread when everyone else brought in cupcakes, candy and cookies. Bless you, Hummus Boy! :D I have garlic breath right now, but I don't care. This hummus is da bomb diggity. :9 And way better for me than cupcakes and cookies. :)

Wow... everyone seems to be doing very good so far in the resistance department! Keep up the good work!!

I have a bucket of candy at my desk (since people bring their kids in for "cube" trick-or-treating). I know it's only 11:13 a.m. but I'm proud of myself for resisting thus far!!

Thanks Robin! I was getting anxious about the length of the thread!:) My anal retentive self I suppose!

Yesterday was pretty okay I guess. We went to Elton John's Red Piano show-incredible, you all must see it if in town. I did a workout before I went, and then enjoyed a few small glasses of winex( Yeah. I heard its great for muscle building and leaning out!}( And when we got home I had some chicken breast.

All that is left temptation-wise is the Halloween candy, so the kids get it all, I will hand out fistfuls of the stuff while sipping herbal tea, until its all gone, then the lights go off and that is it!:D

Way to go Shelley, turning down anything that involves peanut butter and chocolate is tough.I was going to try that cardio pre-mix this am.

Robin, your chicken sausage sounds delicious! I am part German and love my kraut and sausages:)

Off to do the premix and later on the Squeeze workout-it is so effective I really feel this one in my triceps.

Howdy!

I did well last night. I had roast chicken for dinner with a small serving of garlic roasted baby red potatoes, and green beans. I had a really busy day yesterday and didn't do my workout until 11 PM :eek: . I was so tempted to just blow it off at that point, so I'm really proud of myself for sticking with it. :)

Thank goodness Halloween is over here. The trick-or-treaters were out in force last night, but I turned off the lights and pretended I wasn't home. I think I'll do the same next year!

It's a gorgeous day and I'm going outside to enjoy the beautiful blue sky and sunshine. I'm sending powerful vibes to everyone so you can fend off the candy cravings. :*

ETA I almost forgot to mention that my workout for today is full body weights. I'm not sure if I'm going to do Jari Love or P90.
 
Wow, Michele! 11pm? Good for you for not blowing it off!

Meanwhile I couldn't get up this morning to do my workout... My fiancee and I recently bought our house and we're not used to things like "checking to make sure there's enough heating oil in the tank...." Needless to say, there was no oil left in the tank and it was freezing in the house! I wanted nothing more than to stay beneath my blanket - and I did until I absolutely had to get up to get ready for work.

So tonight is IMAX 2. And you have inspired me to get it done no matter what!
 
HEY GUYS!!!! So, I did BBC arms and abs, and it is already a tad bit difficult to type! I also did the non-TM cardio. That was alright. Looking foward to try the TM one!

I will be honest, I am not good in the will power dept. My boys are going TorT tonight and they will have alot of candy. THe chocolate bars are EVIL!!!
I know I can count on you guys for help!!

B- I did the same thing yesterday with the oil! It was cold!!!

Michele- I miss you! Great job on the 11 pm WO. I did that before!

Shelly- You rock!

Actually, you all rock, avoiding that candy so good!

Hey ladies!

Everyone is doing so great! I bought a big box of chocolate bars this morning and a box of those Pringles single servings to give out. I haven't touched them.

For those of you with chocolate readily available in your workplaces, my heart goes out to you:p

Michele - why is your Hallowe'en a day early? I don't get it.

But I made sure not to buy any chocolate to put in my Halloween basket... otherwise I'd be in big trouble!

Anyway, that's my rule - 10 push-ups per slip-up. I didn't want to get lax on account of Halloween.
 
I'm also impressed at Shelley's PB cup resistance! I have a ton of those right now because it's what I got to give out tonight. What kind of an idiot am I to pick my favorite candy to hand out! Duh, Lainie.

I am still sore from doing BBC Arms & Abs on Monday. Yesterday I took a nap instead of working out because I felt so sick. Feeling a little more normal today and I'm going to attempt Chest & Abs, but first I'm going to try Amy Bento's new step workout.

I will not eat those Reese's Cups! I will not eat those Reese's Cups! This is my mantra today. I'm sure after my workout there will be no way I can handle pushups, so I'd really better keep repeating that mantra.

Hey Cari -- I did it today - got up early and got the work out done! I'm so glad I did! I know there won't be time tonight. Of course I'll probably be doing a couple sets of pushups later! ha ha!!

Lainie - I wanted to say "thanks" for the weight worksheets on your website - they are AWESOME!!

Shelley - there's no way I could have resisted a PB cup!! Good for you! I specifically did NOT buy them to hand out. So here I am eating a Milky Way instead - yuk -- totally not worth the 10 pushups!!

Oh yeah, like I am so good, well actually today I have been so far. Just ingested a large salad with chicken breast and this am did that cardio premix with the new Bootcamp/Kickbox workouts, loved it!
