Hi Cathe,
I am new to your workouts (unfortunately I hadn't found you until this year ) and am enjoying every minute. In particular, I am loving the Hiit's. Although they are short, they are very intense and I end up a sweaty mess every time, I love it!
My question is, does doubling up on Hiit's back to back contradict the science behind doing this type of workout? Will prolonging this type of workout lead to muscle loss (which is definitely not the end result i'm looking for)? I have read a couple of threads about folks doing 2 or 3 Hiit's back to back, and after reading the science behind it, it makes me think it may not be such a good idea.
I appreciate your thoughts on this.
Thanks for your time!
Nora
P.S I'm about to start STS in a week and I'm sure it will be as challenging and rewarding as the other workouts of yours I've already tried. Thanks for such great programs!
