double strollers

I have a 26 month old and a 4 month old. We are finding a double stroller will be pretty handy to keep us out and about. Any of you have strollers you would recommend? I would love to get a jogging stroller, but those are pretty wide for other purposes, like fitting down shopping isles. So if you have recommendations on both the out and about type of strollers and joggers, please share!!!

We bought a used in step double jogger for walks, which is great. We also bought a tandem sit and stroll stroller for malls, outings. With an age difference, I strongly recommend this one. My oldest daughter was 2.9 when my second one was born. It works with most infant seats but has a regular seat when the child outgrows the infant carrier. . The back has a bench with belt or standing platform for the older child. I found we needed both strollers.

Here's what I've owned:

double umbrella- side by side- decent for the mall, but can be hard on pavement, etc.

double Mountain Buggy- loved this for neighborhood walks until it was stolen

double Baby Jogger City Series double- have this now. We take it to zoo, festivals, etc. It can maneuver around the stores pretty well, but it is big.

joovy caboose ultralight- I just ordered this. Kind of a 1 1/2 stroller rather than a double. Holds a kid or infant seat in the front and had a bench on the back for an older child.

If money were no object, I'd get a double jogger for the nieghborhood, such as a BOB revolution duallie, Baby Jogger city, or a Mountain Buggy. If you actually run, get a big wheel jogger.

THen I'd also get a side by side for your car to take to the mall, etc. I noticed these:

youtube- anytime you want to see a stroller in action, look on youtube for a video of someone operating/collapsing the stroller.

I have a Baby Double Jogger for jogging (too big for stores--but you cannot beat the smoothness & steadiness).

I had an Aria Twin Side by Side and HATED it. I then had a Macrlean Twin Travellor that I liked, but lost during my recent move. IT worked well, but even that side by side was hard to shop with. I now have a tatem Peg Perego that I like, but hard to steer. I'd like to try Ted & Phil.

I have a Graco that came from Sears. Its not for jogging its just for shopping and zoo trips and such. It is wonderful for that. It is kinda of bulky but it folds up real easy and is not as heavy as it looks. If anything happened to mine I would buy another in a heartbeat.
