Double arm Scarecrows in Upper Body 2

I noticed this was fixed when you play the chapter in OnDemand, but when I went into the blender part and added this chapter to one of my blended workouts, saved, and played, the chapter still shows the red message screen.

Hi aqua girl, we fixed this several days ago. I double-checked just to make sure on a phone and on a computer using a browser and the corrected file showed on both devices. If you're still seeing the old file it means it is cached either on your device or on our cloud content server that you are connecting to. If it is on your device you will need to clear your cache. If it is on one of our cloud content servers you will have to wait till the cached file updates to the newer file. If after clearing your cache you still have an issue let us know.

I did that.....when I play that chapter in OnDemand, it is corrected.....but when I go into the blender and pull
that chapter from Upper Body 2, it still has the red message.

Hi aqaua girl. I just checked using the Workout Blender and the Double-Arm Scarecrow file played fine. It just sounds like you're using the older cached file instead of the newer corrected file. Did you try clearing your browser's cache?

Ok, I'm back. I had cleared things on my ipad & chromebook, but I had not turned off
my internet router. I turned that off and back on, and tried them both and it did ok. Maybe
that's what you were talking about before, but I hadn't tried that. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Well, you are not going to believe this, but I actually just went & did the blender workout,
going right along, Scarecrows started and when finished, there was the red message screen
again! I am just going to take that chapter out, too much trouble.....also, I had the Single
arm tricep extensions in it and that chapter started and then just froze....and went directy
to my next chapter. Taking that one out too. I am not sure which workout that was from.

my single arm tricep extension chapter froze too
Yep, I do believe there’s some problems…did the other work for you, clearing everything
and trying again? It worked one time for me, but when I went in later & did my workout
using iPad with hdmi cable, red screen appeared…

Hi aqua girl, the reason for your problem is you have to clear your cache on any device you have used. Earlier you said you cleared your cache ( this is not the same as rebooting your router, so make sure you actually did this) on your Chromebook, but that will only solve your issue on your Chromebook.

You now have to also clear your browser's cache on your iPad too if you're playing using your browser. You may also have to clear your iPad cache which is different than your browser's cache if you're using the Cathe OnDemand app, but I would first try force closing the app and then powering off and on your iPad. Another trick you can do is to change your quality setting in the app and this will make your player select a different file for the premix when you play it.

OK, I haven't fooled with this too much, but I did test it with the "medium" qualilty playback and the chapter is fine. But on "low", is where I see the red screen. Unfortunately, I have a slow internet, so I need to use low and I don't have any problems as a rule. So, if there are different files for each quality, it seems like it is in the low only. Don't know if that makes a difference, just thought I'd let you know. And it’s not in a premix, it’s just the individual chapter. I normally don’t do premixes in the blender, I use dvds for that.

ETA: also a lot of the new workouts chapters are freezing when playing, usually just shortly after the particular chapter starts….sometimes if I go back a chapter and then go
back to the one that froze, it will go on, and sometimes I have to completely go out of the workout, choose it again and start playing again at that chapter…..I did a blender workout yesterday evening which was 31 min. And it took me about 45 min to get thru it
because of the freezing chapters…. It never happens with any other workout chapters.

This happens to me too. I did the Express 1 premix of Supersets Total Body the other day and it froze about halfway during the biceps/triceps set and again during the incline fly/underhand barbell row set. I just carried on with the set while it was frozen as I knew we were doing 8 reps of each exercise for 3 rounds. Then when I completed the set (during the rest period) I exited the workout, re-entered it and selected the next chapter. Fortunately, because this workout follows a predictable rep pattern, I could carry on but not all workouts are like this. Yesterday I did the Mobility 1 and 2 premix and this froze a few times too, but then it carried on again without me having to fiddle with it.

Hi aqua girl, Let me explain why your medium Scarecrow video file plays fine and the low-quality version has errors. The high, medium, and low-quality video files are all totally different video files. In your case, the reason the medium plays fine and the low doesn't is that you originally streamed the old low-quality video that had the red screen issue before we fixed the file. When you did this the old video file became cached on your computer and or any device you tried to play it on. Since you didn't access the medium-quality video file until after we fixed the issue this file should play fine.

To fix the low-quality video file on your computer all you probably need to do is clear your browser's cache. If you need help doing this just reach out to our support team at [email protected] and they can help you get this done. Hope this helps.

OK, I may do that.......what about all of the new workouts chapters in the blender that are
freezing and maybe will continue to play or we are having to try and "force" them to play?
Is that a different issue?

Ok, I cleared everything I could clear one more time……I unplugged router and plugged
back in. I cleared everything in storage management (cookies, browsing history, data
on chomebook) then signed in on website from their and made up a scarecrows test
blender workout. Then I turned on iPad and cleared all history on that and deleted
CatheOnDemand app and reinstalled it. Then on iPad I signed into app and played the
scarecrows test workout I created on Chromebook after clearing everything on it, and
on the iPad I still get the red screen. There isn’t anything else I can unplug, reinstall, clear, etc. so….if you want to share this with whoever handles this type of thing in support, ok…but I am not going to email…. I think I have done everything I can do.
