Double arm exercises and 1RM

I know I've seen the answer to this before but I can't find it right now. When performing a double arm movement, such as tricep kickbacks, what weight do I enter? 20# because I used 2 10# weights or 10# because that's what I held in each hand?

I'm pretty sure I remember Cathe posting an answer to this question and if you use a 10 pound weight in each hand she recommends entering 10 pounds not 20.
