Do you hate it when your favorite lip color/nail color/scent, etc are discontinued??? I just found out that Bath and Body Works are discontinuing their older scents. I love Plumeria and Pearberry from BBW and the clerk said whatever is left on the shelves is it. And my fave lipstick from Revlon was discontinued last year. You know how hard it is to find that "perfect shade" of lipstick? Then BAM, they decide to discontinue it? I bought all that I could find. Why does the cosmetic industry do this???? I"m sure that a man is behind it. }(

YES! Club Monaco's Glaze--definitely my favorite. Now it sells on ebay for like $35-40 a tube, while it only cost $12 in the stores.

So check ebay, you might be able to stock up.

I loved, loved Vivid perfume and powders, by Liz Claiborne. Compliments were always given to me when I wore it also. That was discontinued years ago. Not sure if a man was behind the discontinuation of it or not...hmmm

Yes - and you know what else I hate? When your grocery store stops stocking orange roughy! It's one of the only fish that I can get down without gagging! OK - big diversion from lipstick. Sorry.

Actually, I don't usually wear lipstick. I hate reapplying makeup.

Oh no! No more Pearberry?! That's just wrong! I loved that scent.

I hate that. I couple years ago me and my sister both loved this bronzing powder from Maybeline. It kept me from looking like a corpse in the winter, yet didn't look fake at all, and they discontinued it! It was my favorite makeup item ever. I never have found anything that's really as good.

Yikes! It never fails. Find something you like, and they will be sure to discontinue it soon.

I'm still not over the fact that Clinique discontinued my favorite lipstick (Grape Iris) at least 2 years ago!

I love Plumeria from B&BW! I hope they aren't d/c Freesia, because that is my favorite.

I am fickle when it comes to beauty products, I hop all over the place and really don't have a specific favorite color, etc.

Donna, If you have a Sam's club they sell frozen orange roughy fillets. I love these and are great to have as standby in the freezer. Also, if you are a shrimp lover their frozen jumbo shrimp are soooo good.

There are NEW brands of everything every time you turn around, and the new products just wouldnt sell if they keep stocking the OLD brands.

This is also why they use "Famous" people to sell them..............if its good enough for Cindy Crawford to wear.............we will buy it.............they discontinue the line..............bring out the new product...........again we will buy it

WHAT??? No more Pearberry!!! Waaaaa. That is my all time favorite! I have (literally) 13 different shower gels in the shower (and I take a clot of crap for it lol) but PB has always been my favorite. I'm sending them an email to protest!!

I have experienced this with B & BW a lot over the years. I find that they tend to get some of the discontinued items back on their shelves during their semi-annual sales and sometimes they tend to carry them at outlets.

One last suggestion is to ask for their customer service or 800#, because sometimes you can order things by mail.

I can't stand when they do that!! I have purchased discontinued B&B Works scents from Ebay. I hate paying the shipping, but sometimes I really have no choice if I really want an older scent.
