Don't Underestimate Cardio Kicks

I just have to post to reinforce for all of us the value of crosstraining. I am an advanced exerciser who does Body Max, IM, MIS, PH, SM, etc, and runs about 10-15 miles a week. I did Cardio Kicks two days ago just for something different (I do it about once a month). All I can say is holy cow. :eek:

I am sore in my shoulders, lats, mid and lower back, arms, abs, you name it! It is hard to get dressed! I really truly did all of the drills at my maximum intensity, and it really worked. The nice thing is there was no "suffering" involved! I had fun during the drills and didn't even know how much I was working!
I will definitely do this tape more often- what a workout!

I totally agree with you. I love this tape. I do it sometimes twice a week. And the kicking and arm drills are kick butt. You can really tone up in no time doing this one. Amy Jo
 
Just another agreement! I love step, but it is nice to not have to set up any equipment and get such an intense workout. It is so fun you don't realize how hard you're working. And don't even ask me how my lats and delts feel the next day - Yikes!!!
 
I'm with you this one! Now that my form has improved I really feel it in my upper body and it's as tough as a workout with weights.
 
One more in agreement with you all!!

This tape really kicks butt. I barely ever get sore from weights anymore, but when I do this workout I feel like I truly am a beginner! My lats and shoulders just ACHE the next day.

I love this workout so much because of its "agression" factor. Feelin' like you are kickin' someone's butt without really kickin' someone's butt, you know?? I keep trying to think of someone that I could share this tape with that would really appreciate it and enjoy it, but the problem is I don't know anyone..other than you all...that likes to work out as much as me. I am just so excited about this tape that my excitement is brimming over!! Oh well, atleast I could share it with you all....:):) Janice
