I was thinking how much I love doctors and dentist who do reminder calls and your post about a calender with pop ups struck my brain. Uh duh! I have become organized enough to handle the thought since then. ;) You said Outlook. And Outlook is????? Or, where can I get a calendar with popups to help me keep my asylum in order? Thanks!

Hi Bobbi! Outlook is Microsoft Office's email system. It's actually more than email. It also has a calendar and other tools for organization. If you have MS Office Professional, the Outlook program is very nice. If you just have the home edition, it's Outlook Express and isn't as good.

If you have AOL, they have a nice calendar feature too. This one is pretty awesome because it can send you text messages to your cell phone reminding you of appointments. I also set alarms on my cell phone to remind me of appointments with my doctors, dentist and hairdresser.

And don't fret about your whirlpool-head. Einstein was the same way.:)

Fortunately, I can't focus on even fretting for very long. ;) I am sad to say I am on a Mac (Not really. I love Hal.) and use Netscape. I was just lost in iCal trying to figure out how to email remiders but pop ups would be better. They can grab my attention. I only go through a kazillion email a day. I believe MS Office is available but I may need Virtual PC. The plot thickens. When Uncle Sam sends us our moola, I am getting a new G5 and now I have a mission, once I figure out what it is exactly. In the meantime, iCal here I come! :)

Thank you, ma'am!

Yeeeeaaaaah...all that Mac talk might as well be Chinese to me. I have no idea what you're talking about. My hubby's a Mac user at work and is totally lost on our home PC. It's hilarious because our 4 year old shows him how to log on to AOL and get to Nickjr.com. SHE pays attention when I show her. He does not.

My husbands wants a PC because he has one at work. Theoretically, he could work form home if we got Yeah, right, as if that would ever happen. I love this thing and have learned it can indeed email me an "Alarm" in the days prior to an appointment! I had this computer for 5 years and never knew that! This could be the continuance of a beautiful friendship. But it cannot put away the laundry so I am off. I just think I'll get some tea first. ;)
