Doing the Happy Dance!!!!

BelovedHeather

Cathlete
Cathe and Beloved Road Trip Sisters:

I am back in the game, fired up, doing the happy dance, and ready to blast off the rest of this fat. :7 I have been battling the blues and missing y’all like crazy all week. :-( I was so sad that I could not bring myself to unpack my bags and did not even bother to wash my hair all week. My last workout was Sunday morning, so it was not sweaty. I just pulled it up and went to work. Cathe’s message yesterday (see her thread about missing us) made my heart smile and inspired me to do the happy dance with her this morning.

I woke up early this morning, enjoyed my quiet time, opened my suitcase, pulled out the outfit and shoes I wore last Friday for my very first live Cathe step class, and got ready to do the happy dance. Body Max 2 was still in my DVD player. I did it the Saturday before the Road Trip. I have not been consistent with my workouts this month. Oh well. I still dropped 3 pounds in Catheland and have kept it off during this week of less than stellar eating.

I opened the autographed Rhythmic Step case and did the happy dance with Cathe and crew to start this Friday morning. :7 Fun, fun, fun. :7 I have more than one copy of this on VHS, but I am so glad I bought the DVD in Jersey last week. I was able to go straight from the warm-up to the challenge! I love it. :7 I smiled the whole time, and my heart and mind were filled with warm memories. :) Rhythmic Step was perfect for my first workout after such an intense high.

I took a shower this morning with my special road trip shower gel and washed my hair. I am ready to face this day! With y’all as my witnesses, I am getting back on track with clean eating this morning. Well, I am planning to enjoy cheesecake next Saturday for my birthday. :9 I need to find a check-in. I feel so lonely and out of touch with everyone. :-(

By the way, my workout clothes smell like my cherry blossom body spray after a week in my suitcase! The secret is wearing plenty of body spray so you sweat sweetly! ;-) I love y’all! :*

Blessings,
Heather B.

Heather - Just wanted to let you know we have kept the Roadtrip check-in going. We renamed it PYGFO - "Put Your Game Face On". It includes everyone from the original Roadtrippers Check-in. Please come on over!!! :)

Heather!
So glad you are back in the game and doing the happy dance!! It was great meeting you. I hope you will join us on the PYGFO Check-In.
My birthday is the 27th, so we are almost birthday twins, although I'm sure I am just a few years older than you!!;-) ;-)

Hi Heather,

Glad to hear you are back in the game. Happy dance all you want. Great idea for the clothes. I think it is normal to have a little bit of a let down feeling when we return to our regular lives. The RT weekend was so exciting and exilerating, its hard to step back into reality. I almost feel like that weekend was a dream. And what a wonderful dream it was (a dream come true), getting to meet Cathe and all the lovely women who attended. Glad I got to see you again.

Heather -

It is so good to see my social butterfly and sweet friend posting with such joy and happiness. The RT weekend seems like it was such a whirlwind but one of the best weekends of my life, so enjoyable and just inspirational to be around everyone. The energy was infectious.

I am so glad you have your game face on and are ready to get back in the game. I will admit that I have been too tired to work out this week too - it's just been emotionally draining and exhausting and I know you understand that.

*Hugs*

Talk to you soon!

Tracy
