Doing step, weights & pilates on same day?

I ususally exercise on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 1 1/2 hours doing a combination of step, weights and pilates. Am I defeating my purpose if I'm trying to tone up and get more limber on the same day? Would I be better off to do step and weights on Monday and Friday and do pilates or yoga on Wednesday. I am 64 and beginning to feel sore more often than I used to .
