I've always been an IMAX 2 fan and needless to say, I do this workout often because it remains as challenging as the first time I tried to learn it.
Last weekend I decided to do the first IMAX, after reading posts that said it's harder than IMAX 2. I haven't done IMAX 1 in many months and I'd forgotten how it went but I do understand why many say it's harder. Those plyo jacks in intervals 3 & 4 kill you right away. But the succeeding intervals were fine with me. I didn't feel "murdered" until the last interval where Cathe was flying off the floor -- did she have springs in her shoes? -- while I couldn't feel the lower half of my body.
Still, to me IMAX 2 is harder since the blasts of intervals 3, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 blow me away. I feel like I don't have that much time to recover.
Just a thought...
